Nice little walk. The waterfall was was stunning and the water very refreshing.

Wir machten den Weg zum Wasserfall und es war wunderbar. froh, dass wir uns gefragt haben, wie es fast am anderen Weg zum Aussichtspunkt endete, dass chu wir hörten ist wunderbar. der Wasserfall ist klein und das Wasser ist gefroren, aber es ist erfrischend nach dem Wandern an einem heißen Tag. nur über eine Stunde Wanderung und dann eine Stunde zurück.

Great walk in a beautiful forest with a beautiful view at the top. It's a little stiff sometimes but is still easy even for casual walkers

Sie können Mt Ruapehu von der Spitze des Hügels an einem klaren Tag sehen.Die Schleife zum Gipfel dauert etwa 40 Minuten, und zum Wasserfall und zurück ist es eine weitere Stunde mindestens.

Ein Pfad zum Berg, der andere zum Wasserfall. Um beides zu tun, zählen Sie 3:30 Spaziergänge insgesamt. Empfohlene Wanderschuhe. Beide sind schön und es wert!

Totally beautiful, the walk is absolutely worth it! It took us about 80 minutes to get to the waterfall. The track goes up and down, so wear firm shoes! We were alone at the waterfall and even bathed in it (nice and cold).

Definitely worth a stop on your way to Tauranga! Type in "Mountain road" in your navi, you'll pass a yellow sign pointing towards otanewainuku. Keep driving until you see the car park for it. 90 min amazing trek deep into the rainforest. The waterfall is very rewarding! I feel revitalised (and hungry! Bring food and water!). Didn't spot any Kiwis :-P but there were so many other birds around! There are heaps more treks here: some 3,4 and even 8 hours! Could spend the day here but we didn't start the hike until 4pm!
