I planned to book a powered site online, but it kept saying the vehicle type didn’t match. I figured a Top 10 holiday park couldn’t possibly have no 7.5-metre spots, so I decided to try my luck on-site. I was lucky. The front desk staff were professional and polite, and quickly checked us in. Two adults, one child, and a 7.5-metre motorhome on a powered site came to NZ$63 in total. The facilities were complete. The shower water temperature and pressure were both good, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the kids’ area was fun. In the morning we even swam in the Blue Lake. Everything was great.

Wir verbrachten zwei Nächte, während wir die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Rotorua sahen. Wir waren in einem selbstreichenden Van, nutzten aber die Duschen und Toiletten, die alle großartig waren. Badematten und Haartrockner in der Damendusche sehr geschätzt! schöne malerische Lage nicht weit von der Stadt entfernt

Really lovely site and (for me) all the better for NOT being in town. Very clean, good spacing so not on top of each other, super friendly and helpful staff at reception and lots of facilities to cater for most needs. I'll definitely use this placed again next time I'm this way.

Place is very clean, all equipment worked well. Staff was not friendly though. We felt not welcomed.

Beautiful and peaceful. Tucked in the middle of the forest right next to Blue Lake (Public access) and very close access the the Whakarewarewa Forest Loop mountain bike trail (which I rode yesterday and it was amazing!) well maintained facilities and a super friendly staff. Do it!

The best campsite since we arrived in NZ!! Superb service and facilities. The individual showers are very clean, some with a view of the lake. The kitchen has great equipment, including large griddles. There's also a pump track, a children's playground, and fun bikes 😀.

Nice site on the lakes edge. Good facilities. Plenty of hooks and shelves in the shower and a mat to keep feet dry.

Campground is lovely located near the lake. Facilities are sufficient and clean. Playground with trampoline for kids. Nothing to complain about in general.
