Viel Platz, schöne Aussicht. Toliet und Tankwasser

We stayed here one night and it was great! The site is very large, so you can get away from the road and be far from other campers. We didn't hear much road or truck noise at night. There's a toilet and unfiltered water. Cell phone reception varies depending on the provider (one of our phones had coverage and the other didn't).

Outstanding campsite right in the middle of Arthur’s Pass, set on a dried-up riverbed — strong “wild expedition” vibes from the start. Epic mountain views all around and, as a bonus, the train rolls past from time to time, which somehow adds to the scenery instead of ruining it. There’s loads of space in theory — but naturally everyone drives as far forward as possible, meaning your million-dollar view can quickly turn into “Campervan Rear Window Edition.” Facilities are minimal: just one toilet

there are thousands of flying insects and also sandflies, we couldn’t sit outside and went somewhere else. don’t recommend!

Sandflies were indeed very bad. Campsite itself is very nice and open, next to a river. Toilet was clean.

Great campsite, close to some beautiful hikes and beautiful backdrop. we didn’t have any issues with sandflies here and we had a spot right next to the river. Highly recommend!

Nice scenic spot in between Castle Hill an Arthur’s Pass walking tracks. Clean toilet and a hut with running tank water.

Really nice campsite next to the river with beautiful views. I parked up right on the higher bit next to the river so it was a bit windy but best view to wake up to! Toilet is well maintained, I didn’t see any sandflies because it’s winter so ignore everyone else’s comments if you are here in winter it’s fine. Overall 9/10 would recommend
