Eine wunderbare Fahrt, Wanderung und Aussicht vom kleinen Berg mit atemberaubender Landschaft auch an einem bewölkten Tag. Sie sollten defensiv gehen, auch wenn Sie kein Lotterie-Fan sind! Etwa 1 Stunde Fahrt von Mount Somers Village mit 40 min Grabenstraße (eine ziemlich gute Grabenstraße). Vom Parkplatz ist es ein 20 min Spaziergang auf flacher Erde und dann 20 min auf den Berg.

Kommentare auf der Grabenstraße sind kein Witz, es ist eine harte Reise, aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, die erstaunlichste Einstellung und alles um dich herum sieht nicht nur wie der Film aus, sondern wie die Beschreibungen im Buch. Ich denke, es ist die immersivste Filmseite, die ich besucht habe.

Road is open now. Gavel road is pretty bad at few points and there is one big ford. Be careful specially after rainy day

There are 24km gravel road, the 10km to Lake Clearwater are good passable but the rest is pretty bad: /

Best place in New Zealand, just amazingly beautiful area. Camped in the parking lot because we arrived late. But please only self-contained, take your trash with you. One must take care of this indescribably beautiful landscape!
