We were there from 11pm here and have indeed just seen a penguin, but it was sooo cute !!! It was worth in any case. The penguins have their nests among the rocks on the beach. Therefore, signs point out, do not go near the rocks on the beach and take pictures with flash. The penguins are very skittish and sensitive, so they leave their nests if they are disturbed and stay away for hours, even if they have to feed chicks.

It seems the season is not until 9:30, one did not rush back

Last night (9/2) we saw about 10 penguins at 9.30 pm. The way to Caroline Bay is really worth it!

I've been there from 11 to 12 and we've seen heaps of them! Along marina parade is a really great spot :D

We were waiting until 11.30 in vain and unfortunately we did see only one penguin. The care taker said that the parents come back around 1 am in this time of the year, since they have to catch more fish for their babies who are already rather big by then. A small one dared to leave his nest. It's not really romantic to wait for penguins next to the busy port. The next time I would go in the early morning.
