So actually didn’t stay here but drove through thinking we would camp here the night! Don’t waste your time.. totally run down … and there are 3 suitable Freedom Camping Soyes on the way in ..

Beautiful location right on the beach. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The facilities (toilets, showers, kitchen) are a bit old, but clean. The atmosphere is somewhat junkyard-like, including cats and dogs. Rather expensive for what you get.

Only stayed for one night to go to the gannet colony at Cape Kidnappers but loved it here. Friendly and full of character and charm. The most wonderful sunset - go and sit on a log on the beach and watch the light fade with a kingfisher or two in the background. Facilities old and basic but clean. Hot shower included in the price. Manager couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful especially when my awning blew off. Beach is shingle but good cycle tracks nearby and got a decent dog walk in

Schrecklicher Ort. Mehr Skrapeyard als Campingplatz. Einrichtungen alt und verdorben. Unglaublich. Dusche Tropfen. Zwischen Boden und Meer ist ein Parkplatz. Steinstrand mit viel totem Holz. Kein Blick, kein Vergnügen. Billig in jeder Hinsicht. Positive Bewertungen müssen von Menschen sein, die Werte verloren haben. Bleiben Sie fern.

Wunderbarer Ort, gute alte Kiwi-Campingplatz, saubere Einrichtungen und sehr freundliches Management.

Definitiv wiederkommen. ein bisschen ältere Einrichtungen, aber die Duschen sind heiß. Die Küche ist auch gut. Darrell ist so kühl, er gab uns zufällig eine Nacht in seiner Caravan für nur 20$pp.

As others have said not the most modern ofsites but clean and quiet with super helpful site manager and friendly permanent residents. So relaxing we stayed an extra day.

Well maintained campsite and welcoming staff :) felt very safe as a solo female camper!

Owner is super nice! The campsite also costs only € for 2 people, for a pitch without electricity. Showers included and the kitchen is not bad either :)
