So many seals to see, some come up onto the grassed area. Super cool and would recommend! Was very windy

Lovely walk out to the peninsula on a gorgeous sunny day! Saw lots of seals/sea lions, red beaked gulls but no penguins, sadly. Not a great walk for anyone with dodgy knees - mind the potholes.

Great! After 3 km of very good gravel road, little walk on the pa and among plenty of sea lions and gulls two penguins on the beach under the peninsula palisade neck around 5pm. Still groups of people even after opening hours.worth going best with binoculars

Unglaublicher Ort würde ich sagen, es ist der Himmel auf der Erde ! Wir kamen um 4pm und wir sahen einen gelben Auge-Pinguin zu Beginn des Weges ! Wir sahen eine Million Siegel mit Babys auch. Dann um 5pm sahen wir 4 zusätzliche Pinguine an der gleichen Stelle wie das erste + 1 Baby !!!

Einfach zu Fuß. Nehmen Sie es leicht auf der Grabenstraße, um hierher zu gelangen

Absolutely incredible! There were a lot of seals on the second beach. I was there from 3pm to 5.30pm, and I saw 6 yellow-eyed penguins, and even a baby (just before the closing). You can see them with the naked eyes, but it's even better with binoculars!

What a beautiful place. So many seals to see along the track. One of the best seal encounters we have had .

Beautiful little peninsula if you want to see fur seals up close. Also lots of red-billed sea gulls, terns and spotted shags. We saw no penguins (that’s what we came for) and it’s disappointing that they close it at the best viewing times - makes no sense.

It has opening hours now, could be useful to announce it somewhere 23/01/2020 open from 7:30 until 5:30pm. We had no idea, thus were too late when we got there.

Saw one yellow eyed penguin around 13:20 today. Very nice view of the little guy. Lots of seals and gulls too. ? Very very windy out there.
