Take a walk along the lake, and you can stop by to take a picture of this tree, haha. Facing the lake, you can see the mountains, it's very beautiful.

This tree is truly amazing. First we were a bit skeptical reading the comments, but when we arrived at the spot and shared 5 minutes of our lives with the tree we felt fully recharged. When we got back to our car all our engine problems had resolved itself. We’re definetly coming back to this magical place!!

Water levels were super low and so it was barely in the water. Think we should be more worried about climate change than Instagram…. Still it was amusing watching people take the same shot over and over complete with various poses…. #ForThe‘Gram.

Jupiter and Saturn were aligned when I was at this very spot. I felt their energy flow trough the tree right into me. This tree has enchanting powers. I’ve been enlightened by it. It speaks to me in my dreams.. Please visit the tree. It will change your life… forever

Spent two days here, disappointed I was not allowed to camp next to it. This tree rekindled the flame between me and my wife (we grew apart over the years), could not be happier, amazing experience. Are now expecting two kids and have bought a house. Thank you Wanaka Tree!
