Had a lovely warm welcome from the owner who was so so nice. Camping on well maintained grass with rubbish bins. Best price in the area. Recommend 100% if you’re in a self contained van!!

Had a good experience here. Andy was there at 9pm when I arrived, their check-in closes 10pm. He was very friendly and gave me some travel advice. Plenty of space, on a clear night the stars are incredible. My 2WD Mazda made it in and out after a steady drizzle all day and night, but stick to the gravel path if you're worried. $15NZ for self-contained isn't bad when every option in town is 4-5x that much. Public toilets a 7 minute drive away if necessary :P

Andy’s place was a great find. We arrived into town a bit late and needed a place to stay. Eventhough it was 9pm they were more than willing to accomodate. The young lady that checked us in was so friendly and kind and hospitable. It was dark when we pulled in so we didnt know what the campsite looked like, but we awoke to the most amazing green fields and trees. So serene and peaceful. Highly recommend this place!

We arrived at 9:30 p.m. Reception was still open. Payment with card is possible. We stayed for one night. Great look at the nightsky.

Andy gab uns einen herzlichen Empfang und bot uns einen schönen, ruhigen Ort weg von der Straße. Der Boden war flach. Es gab keine Toiletten, aber es gab Müllbehälter. Der Preis war niedriger als der DOC. Wir genossen es wirklich für nur eine Nacht. Es gab keine Moskitos oder Sandfliegen.

Ein wunderschöner, friedlicher Ort in üppigem Grün. Wir hatten eine Unterbrechung, die uns daran hindert, Milford Sound zu besuchen. Unser Gastgeber fuhr uns zum Treffpunkt und bot an, uns zu holen. Vielen Dank und Dank an Kevin für seine Freundlichkeit.

Großer kleiner Campingplatz, nur 7 Minuten Fahrt von Te Anau entfernt. Viel Platz zum Parken, großartige Aussicht und super freundlicher Besitzer. Keine Annehmlichkeiten, so dass Sie sich selbst beschränken müssen. Wir kamen, als die Besitzer aus waren, aber das Zeichen sagte, dass Sie parken und später bezahlen, alles sehr entspannt! Ich konnte auch einen privaten Hack am nächsten Morgen auf einem schönen Pferd arrangieren, das einen unglaublichen Blick auf Lake Te Anau hatte. Isabella, mein Reiseleiter, war wirklich schön. Alles in allem, ein fabelhafter Aufenthalt!
