Sehr ruhiger und gepflegter Campingplatz. Wir hatten einen "Kampfplatz" für unseren Camper zwischen sehr netten ständigen Campern. Wir fühlten uns sehr sicher, es gab überhaupt keine Probleme. Sie können im Club gut essen und trinken. Das WiFi funktioniert nicht auf dem Campingplatz oder funktioniert nicht gut, aber das ist kein großes Problem. Die Website liegt in der Nähe einer Bushaltestelle, von wo aus Sie leicht nach Nelson gelangen können. Empfohlene Website!

For strange reasons it’s not possible to stay here with your own campervan (or vehicle), only possible when you are in a rented one..

Wir kamen um 7pm an und der Tisch war mit einem Zeichen geschlossen, um zur Bar zu gehen. Wir bekamen einen elektrischen Standort für $ 40 (insgesamt für 2 Personen) und wurden keine Fragen über einen elektrischen WOF gestellt. Badezimmer sind sauber, die Küche ist ziemlich groß.

Nur für die richtigen Camper Vans.

It’s a working men’s club where people usually stay long term (as you will see) but everyone is welcoming and friendly and because they’re self contained and living there the facilities are pretty empty for your use which is awesome. Large and spacious. Very central to the stores etc so once you’ve parked up you can stroll around. Definitely somewhere for people who like to keep to themselves and just get a good nights rest. They also give you temp’ membership to the club which is super cute. The WiFi only works in the club and I guess if you’re social you can chat away to the locals. Lovely spot ?? (oh and no oven in the kitchen!)

Took a long term stay here and it was really wonderful! The showers are included in the fee (click a button for 4 minutes hot water, but can be clicked multiple times), laundry is $3 and there are clothes lines all over. Kitchen is small and basic, but provides plenty. And you get a temporary access pass to the club where the WiFi is free to use and there are various events going on. It is mostly long-term and permanent trailers here, but everyone was really nice. Might feel odd for just a night or two, but we loved it.

It's the first campsite that I felt my possessions may not be safe. To top it all off, we were not allowed a powered site as we did not have an electronic warrant of fitness. This is the first campsite to stop us in over 2 months of travelling.
