Die Eigentümer sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Einrichtungen sind müde, aber sauber und funktional. Wir sahen Pinguine am Strand eines Abends.

Schöner Campingplatz, einer unserer Favoriten in NZ. Großer kleiner Ort mit einem Laden mit allem, was Sie möglicherweise vor Ort benötigen, Benzin, wenn Sie es brauchen, und wirklich saubere Annehmlichkeiten. Das Personal war alles andere als schön und hilfsbereit für uns und erzählte uns sogar von den Feenpinguinen, die unter den Kabinen leben. Es gelang uns, 4 Pinguine nur 200m von unserem Van zu sehen. (Bitte verwenden Sie keine Blitze!) Direkt am Strand und in der Nähe des Abschiedsspitzes.

The staff at this campsite are some of the most unpleasant people we have encountered in New Zealand. Not sure why they own a campsite if they're gonna act like they don't even want you there.

Extremely lovely campsite without a big snack. place above the sea excellently located. kitchen and sanitary facilities somewhat outdated but kept very clean.

Great vibe! Ignore the comments about the mean lady, new owners now so the new lady is lovely! Right on the beach so perfect for watching the sunrise and going for a swim. A few sandflies tenting but nothing with a bit of repellent. Great showers and toilets for ladies, fantastic way to start our trip!

Loveley Campsite next to the beach. Warm welcome on the reception, basic and clean facilities, TV-room and good working WiFi :) any time again!

Lovely spot right on the beach, good facilities, big kitchen (need your own pots etc), clean free showers with no timers (yay no standing naked and cold waiting to rinse your hair) and very sweet hosts. An absolute steal for $20 per person. Call ahead to book as they do sell out.

Schöne Lage neben dem Strand, saubere und gepflegte Einrichtungen, heiße Duschen ... Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Amazing spot! Very natural, hot showers, great kitchen. The best fire pit we’ve ever seen - make sure to bring marshmallows! $20 a night plus $5 for power site which is sooooo worth what you get. Lovely campers seem to flock here and if you walk just 20 mins flat to the right of the coast you’ll come across the most incredible beach I have ever swam in. Just perrrfect!!! You can’t book but that’s okay, lots of space. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Fabian and family x
