Wir sollten nur eine Nacht bleiben, aber wir blieben drei! Der Campingplatz ist sehr ruhig, perfekt für die Entspannung mit dem Geräusch eines kleinen Flusses. Der Besitzer ist schön und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Küche und Duschen sind sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es gibt andere Menschen, die auf dem Campingplatz leben, aber sie sind überhaupt nicht störend (im Gegenteil, sie haben großartige Ratschläge angeboten). Das Wi-Fi ist ausgezeichnet und die Duschen kosten $ 1 für 5 Minuten (aber sie sind einige der besten Duschen rund um). Kurz: gehen Sie für es! :)

Easy to find site, welcoming staff. 7m Campervan was just about small enough to fit on the gravel area still available to book. Lots of live in residents on the site.

Staff is very friendly and camp site overall has good facilities. We had good WiFi connection (free & unlimited) and used the kitchen. Camp site is a little bit aged but the price is def fair. We paid 40$ for 2p plus van. There is also a free mini golf course available and you can swim in the river.

Our campsite was right by the river. That was really nice, because we could also use it for swimming. Unfortunately, we had permanent campers on either side of us, one of whom smoked one joint after another in the afternoon, and the other who watched loud TV all day. That dampened our overall impression. Otherwise, it's a nice campground. Showers cost $1 for 5 minutes, and Wi-Fi is available. Personally, I had no signal anywhere on the grounds.

Lovely site, we had two nights here. There is a mix here; dorms, cabins are available to rent, there are some long term guests plus, campers and caravans. Bathroom are old but very clean. Laundry facilities, great kitchen, BBQs and shared games/Tv lounge. We had a dip in the pool, great for a decent swim. We backed into a stream which was quite a delight as the ducks would pay us a visit. Great place for bird spotting too! We did the hike signposted off site, great but be prepared for a v steep

The campsite was pleasant. The kitchen was good. The toilets and showers were clean. The Wi-Fi was also fine. It would be nice if the paths were a little better lit at night. Hot showers cost an extra 1 NZD despite paying 30 NZD per person. The lady at reception was very courteous and friendly.

Friendly staff. Old facilities but ok. Lot of long term campers. Quite small sites.

Definitely recommend. The new owners are really nice and taking care about the place, investing quite a bit like a nice new shelter at the kitchen. Also gave a lot of tips around Coromandel. Everything clean and nice. Would come back. Free WiFi.

Warm welcome by the owner who gave us helpful tips for hiking in and around Rotorua. We had a perfectly fine stay: clean facilities and warm shower ($1 dollar per 5 min).
