Could not ask for more from a paid campsite. Full use of clean kitchen and bathroom facilities for $15pp. I’ve been to numerous camps in New Zealand and most showers are time limited or cost additional tokens to use, not here. Showers are not limited, very warm and good pressure. Owners are very accommodating and also run a lovely little cafe alongside the campsite. Would recommend.

Has all the basics at a good price !

Wir bezahlten 30$ für zwei Personen. Der Ort sieht gut aus, Sie haben viel Platz zum Parken. Die Annehmlichkeiten sind schlecht tho - Sie haben Küche und ein Bad für zwei Geschlechter. Es gibt keine Schlösser in den Toiletten, die ich nicht wirklich verstehe, warum. Die Duschen waren wirklich heiß und der Druck war super stark. Das Essen im Café war gut und die Besitzer waren freundlich. Das Schlimmste war die Sandfliegen - sie aßen uns am Leben. Es war ein Kampf. Wo Schaden von ihnen, das Schlimmste, das wir je erlebt haben.

Dieser Ort war super! Wir fuhren mit unserem RV auf dem oberen Grundstück, neben den Tischen und hatten einen wirklich schönen Blick auf die Hügel und den Fluss. Die Einrichtungen waren sauber, das Restaurant war ausgezeichnet und der Besitzer war auch super nett. Wir gingen auf dem Flussbett, genossen die Aussicht und sahen nachts glühende Würmer. Einige Sandfliegen, aber wir hatten Abstoßend und wurden nicht so viel gebissen.

Looked a bit sketchy so I ended up not staying here after taking a tour of the place.

What a gem! $15 pp for the night, good kitchen facilities, warm showers and an epic view. Can grab some beers from the cafe and the food looked really good though didn't eat there. Great spot.

Good spot to stay. Lots of room to set up. Stayed one night and had no issues.

Let's start with the good points. The Wi-Fi connection is excellent, and the facilities are good, including a kitchen and toilet. It's a simple parking area with plenty of spaces. However, there are a lot of sandflies! It's almost impossible to get out of the car without getting bitten. Okay for the price.

Very very nice campsite. Friendly owner. The bar was relaxing, the drinks and food were cheap and delicious. The view from the bar was very nice. Campsite is just a large grass and gravel field, which does the job. Facilities are very basic, but for this price you usually don't get any facilities at all. Highly recommend for a one night stay.

Awesome spot with great views! Super friendly staff and situated perfectly next to the river. For $15 I'm extremely impressed! Looking forward to hitting the bar later! Super cheap drinks! Look out! Haha
