We stayed here in Feb 2025 and had a wonderful time. Jane was friendly and welcoming along with the locals in the pub ☺️ the beach is a short wee walk to the campsite ☺️ beautiful scenery and I would highly recommend to any tourist to stop here ☺️

beautiful spot! camp has bathrooms, recycling and a place for your rubbish! aswell as a kitchen and a nice seating area aswell. didn’t use any other amenities so not sure about the rest! showers are $2 for 5 minutes short walk right to the beach i stayed in a non powered site and spots are spaced out nicely so you can have some privacy! the owner came over shortly after i arrived and told me about the camp and was very nice! everything was very clean including the areas to park!

Charming, quiet and peaceful campsite!! Absolutely lovely unpowered sites nestled between trees and bushes, facilities are super clean and spacious (hot showers $2 for 5mins). A short walk to a stunning beach with a historic shipwreck! Lovely sound of the waves from the site, friendly kind owners and a beautiful calm vibe all round! Would recommend to anyone - so worth seeing this area of the beautiful west coast.

Lovely spot, only a couple minutes walk to the beach, plenty of spots and we were able to book online, but seems like you can call up on the day and they should have space. Staff were very friendly. Great kitchen facilities. $2 coin needed for 5 minute hot shower (free cold shower). Few sandflies in evening but not too bad!

11/05/2024 (unbewaffnet) großartiger Aufenthalt auf diesem Campingplatz! schöne saubere Badezimmer und Duschen, ordentlich geschnittenen Rasen perfekt für unser Zelt, schöner Kamin, um uns nachts warm zu halten.

Fantastisches Camp an einem schönen Strand / Flussmündung. Viele offene Räume, saubere und ordentliche Einrichtungen. Neue Manager machen eine fabelhafte Arbeit. Holzofen-Whirlpool auch verfügbar , wird wieder für einen Auftauch sein

Guter Ort. freundliche Begrüßung. Einrichtungen sehr sauber. schöne Gegend. Empfohlen. Allerdings ist keine Visa-Karte Zahlung möglich. 20 NZD pro Person und Nacht.Showering und Waschen oben.

Großer und sauberer Ort. fairen Preis für die Hochsaison. Unpowered 2 Erwachsene 36$.

Alle machten uns so willkommen und alle Einrichtungen waren unglaublich sauber und gut gepflegt. Vielen Dank für Tony und Di (und Papa) in der Pub - was für ein großartiger Ort! Geschmack Whitebait Patties (wusste nicht über das Whitebait Festival!) und wir waren begeistert.
