Der Weg ist geschlossen und nicht mehr zugänglich (nicht mit dem Auto noch zu Fuß!).

Sind den Weg gerade gelaufen war klasse , nehmt beim hochlaufen den Morraine Walk , das ist Zauberwald pur .

Walk from the new car park in o this point is available. You will see where the toad is washed away which is why you can’t drive here anymore, but the walk was worth it. 1.5-2hr return. Large car park at just off the road.

Road is closed but you can still walk the track.. Took us 40 mins to get to the look out. Was a very disappointing lookout, especislly since we had done mt cook days earlier where you saw icey mountains a lot closer. The walk itself is very pretty. Nice rainforrest walk and seeing all the landslides was cool.

Same status as valuation from October 17, 2019. But really worthwhile walk, the Moraine Walk was also super nice!

Road closed but walking track to lookout open, with parking at the bridge on the highway. Relatively easy walk along the old road and forest path. The lookout itself isn't particularly impressive but the forest and river are quite nice to see. Only track currently open at Fox Glacier.

Closed for cars by open if you walk as the previous comment explained. Easy 2 hrs (6km) walk. You are very far from the glacier though. I’d recommend to do the one in Franz Josef if you have to choose between the two.

Road closed for vehicles. Can walk from the south side of the bridge. Easy walk up the gravel road and a slight detour through the lovely forest (road has fallen away so have to walk the scenic route). Two hours easy walk and great scenery when the clouds cleared.
