Camp ground closed for renovation! Easy road in 2wd access

Nicely situated places to camp on two fields (forest and lake side). Sanitary was not clean. Park ranger was on duty, we paid for 2+2kids + car which we found pretty expensive. 1 km gravel road to camping area from road. Unfortunately no walking tracks in close vincinity beside short loop to "headland". Also lots of loud youngsters around who planned a party weekend. Maybe we were just unlucky, but we expected something else from a hideaway in a tranquille area...

Great camp site stayed only during day (wish we could of stayed longer). Water is crystal clear and not very deep. Fairly sheltered from wind as well. Next time will definitely stay overnight

Come early if you wanna have a place, small campsite with not a lot of camping areas

Beautiful camp spot by the lake. Got here at night seemed a little creepy, but woke up to a gorgeous lake front spot. Pit toilets were clean. Ranger was around to check on the place. Quiet. Relaxing. Would recommend !

We were at neranie campground for three nights in beginning of may. Campground is on a dirtroad but easy accesible with a normal car. Campground is clean and tidy, as are the compost toilets. The campingspots are big. The lake is beautiful and Nice to swim in. Kayak rental a little back on the road was great to explore the lake. Campsite is full of funny creaters, such as possem, leguana, bandicoot. Easy to spot them. Would recommend a stay.

Beautiful spot and views. It's a perfect place for camping one night if you go only with a tent and basic camping set because there is no water to drink, no shower, no power and drop toilets. Was 8,5 per person and 8 per car per night.
