Υπάρχουν μόνο 8 πεδία, κάντε κράτηση εκ των προτέρων μέσω της ιστοσελίδας της κυβέρνησης του Queensland. Οι τουαλέτες είναι εκπληκτικά καθαρές και εντελώς ωραίες, δεν υπάρχουν ντους, είναι απλά ένα στρατόπεδο θάμνων. Σε λίγα λεπτά μπορείτε να φτάσετε σε διάφορα σύντομα μονοπάτια πεζοπορίας στο τροπικό δάσος και στις πλατφόρμες προβολής platypus. Είδαμε επίσης χελώνες, kookaburras και σαλιγκάρια παρακολούθησης. Είχαμε μόνο λήψη κυττάρων στην ίδια την Eungella, όχι εδώ.

Όμορφο μέρος, ο δρόμος για να φτάσετε εδώ ήταν λίγο τραχύ στο σπίτι μας αλλά το κάναμε.

Ήμασταν εδώ τον Μάιο του 2024. Eungella σημαίνει γη στα σύννεφα. Έτσι είναι υγρό και αρκετούς βαθμούς πιο κρύο από ό, τι στο Mackay. Αυτό είναι ένα bushcamp. Οι χώροι είναι αρκετά κοντά πλάι-πλάι και υπάρχουν μόνο δύο υβριδικές κενές θέσεις. Αλλά καθίσαμε στο καμπίνο μας και παρατηρήσαμε ένα πλατίπ στο ποτάμι μέσα από τα παράθυρα του αυτοκινήτου. Αυτό αντισταθμίζει πολλά. Ωστόσο, φύγαμε το συντομότερο δυνατόν για να βρούμε ένα ξηρό και πιο πολυτελές μέρος.

Υπέροχη κατασκήνωση, εύκολο να εντοπίσετε τα πλατίφους και μερικά ωραία τροπικά δάση κοντά για να παρακολουθήσετε τα πουλιά. είδαμε επίσης μερικά πετρώματα wallabies πηδούν γύρω κοντά στο μονοπάτι Επειδή αυτό είναι ένα πάρκο χώρο κατασκήνωσης θα πρέπει να κάνετε κράτηση αυτό εκ των προτέρων. μπορείτε να το κάνετε αυτό χρησιμοποιώντας το wifi στο μικρό καφενείο δίπλα στο κέντρο πληροφοριών, αλλά atm είναι ανοιχτό μόνο από τις 10 μ.μ. έως τις 3 μ.μ. στον κρύο ήλιο!

It is a nice little camp with a lot to see around. We came in the afternoon and saw a few platypus from the viewing deck. It is a rainforest area so be aware that there are mosquitoes and leeches around. We did the walk in the morning and saw some platypus in the river again. For two people it was 14$.

Book in advance! No reception! Ranger come to check. Clean toilet :) In the middle of the nature, lots of animal noises, unfortunately lots of mosquitos and if you do the walk be careful about the leechs. They attacked my fiancé but we saw lots of birds and platypus :) Welcome to the rainforest.

We hadn't booked and the computer ?️ wasn't working due to the storm ⛈️ and the rain ☔️ ?️. Luckily a guard allowed us to stay anyway. Beautiful place by the river. We slept like kings. Not a sound except that of nature. Toilets ? clean. Watch out for black ? snakes Watch out ⚠️ leech ?. Tested for you it hurts and it bleeds. We saw plenty of platypus even from the deck. There are platforms set up to see them. You have to be patient. The best time: at sunrise ?. The light is fabulous. Pascal & Pascal ??

Lovely and peaceful spot. Toilets fine. Camp by the riverside for evening and morning wildlife: we saw platypus, turtles, an echidna and hunting kingfishers. Also heaps of fireflies just after sunset, and so many stars! Book in advance through government NP website.

Love this place, spotted cute platypus in the morning from our tent. We have our own hanging shower, we used boiled water to have hot shower. Be aware of the leeches when you walk into the rainforest across the river (they really love me, but not my hubby?).
