Terrible. Drove over 3hrs here and all gates locked, online bookings taken down, no one to answer the phone either. Operated by Auckland council. Closed as of March 2026.

Drove over 3hrs to here just for all the gates to be locked & closed. The online bookings / website is no longer available and there is nothing online at all indicating that it is closed. I called their number only to be put on hold forever and have no one pick up. There is no information or or anything in person to access this site either. Don’t waste your time and skip this place. 0/10

Καταπληκτικό μέρος και θέα στο χώρο της βαν. Καταπληκτική θέα. Flush τουαλέτα είναι ένα πλεονέκτημα. αλλιώς το δικό σας από μόνη της εκεί.

Απολύτως αγάπησε αυτό το κάμπινγκ, τι κρυφό κόσμημα! Σκεφτήκαμε ότι θα ήταν σφιχτό καθώς ήμασταν εκεί 2 Ιανουαρίου αλλά μόνο τέσσερις άλλες ομάδες / βαν. Flush τουαλέτες και μια κατσαρόλα για να πλύνετε. Πολλά από το χώρο και ωραία θέα του wayer Ήταν εύκολο να κάνετε κράτηση και να πληρώσετε online περίπου μια ώρα πριν, το οποίο πρέπει να κάνετε για να πάρετε τον κωδικό εισόδου. Email ήρθε μέσα αμέσως. Μερικά mozzies κατά τη νύχτα αλλά όχι πάρα πολύ κακό.

What an amazing facility. Had a great couple of nights here. Biked most of the tracks. Everything well cared for and clean.

Stunning little campsite. Clean facilities. No showers. Amazing surrounding and the grassy field is to roll in. Views are beautiful.

Beautiful park and great little campground Auckland Councils booking system is completely useless

Great campsite with a lovely view. We stayed over NYE for 3 nights and really enjoyed ourselves, there were a few other here at the time but still plenty of room

Nice, peaceful campground with fantastic views especially on some of the walks. Reservoir pond worth a look see, but watch out for slippery paths! Only downside was no swimming allowed.
