Gorgeous spot with beautiful sunset and sunrise views. The beach is beautiful and ok fishing. Right next to the train tracks so a bit of a sleepless night with the trains going through.

Η γυναίκα φύλακας ήρθε στο φορτηγό μας (ένα Ford Transit) και μας είπε ότι νόμιζε ότι η πράσινη κάρτα μας ήταν ψεύτικη (αν και επιθεωρήθηκε και εκδόθηκε από την NZMCA) ήθελε να δει το χαρτί μας να το επαληθεύει. Της είπαν ότι θα μπορούσε να ελέγξει στο ηλεκτρονικό μητρώο και είπε ότι δεν είχε το τηλέφωνό της. μας ρώτησε επίσης αν ήμασταν μέλη της NZMCA έτσι έπρεπε να την πάρετε και να επισημάνουμε το αυτοκόλλητο και τους αριθμούς μας.

Βλέπω μερικά από τα titewads διαμαρτύρονται για το Sandpit δεν είναι δωρεάν. C'mon you meanies, your'e ζουν τη ζωή της σχετικής ελευθερίας, έτσι ώστε να μην είναι τόσο άθλια. Αυτό το μέρος είναι καταπληκτικό. Πραγματικά φιλικό Custodians , Steve , Max και Barbara. Beautiful beachside campground. Well maintained, clean, and large clearly marked sites. Friendly and really helpful hosts. Direct access to beach. Dog friendly. Allowed my brother and his wife to stay for lunch at no extra charge. Only accepts cash. Will definitely be back. Dog thought he was in heaven

We stopped here to cook lunch on our way past. What a lovely place, on the beach and very happy for us to stop for an hour at no charge! Beautifully kept up! Thank you team.

Close to beach, plenty of room. Tidy site. Trains are a bit noisy but don’t come thru often.

Nice spot right on the beach. Unfortunately there is some permanent campers residing there who have noisy generators going at all times of the day and up to 10.30pm. We noted that they were NZMCA members but had no regard for the rules
