Nice little walk. The waterfall was was stunning and the water very refreshing.

Κάναμε το μονοπάτι προς τον καταρράκτη και ήταν υπέροχο. Χαίρομαι που ρωτήσαμε γύρω όπως σχεδόν κατέληξε στο άλλο μονοπάτι προς το lookout που chu ακούσαμε είναι υπέροχο. ο καταρράκτης είναι μικρός και το νερό παγώνει αλλά είναι αναζωογονητικό μετά την πεζοπορία σε μια ζεστή μέρα. λίγο πάνω από μια ώρα πεζοπορία μέσα και στη συνέχεια μια ώρα πίσω.

Όμορφη βόλτα και θέα από την κορυφή

Ωραίο περπάτημα σε ένα όμορφο δάσος με μια όμορφη θέα στην κορυφή. είναι λίγο άκαμπτο μερικές φορές, αλλά εξακολουθεί να είναι εύκολο ακόμη και για τους περιστασιακούς πεζοπόρους

Μπορείτε να δείτε το όρος Ruapehu από την κορυφή του λόφου σε μια καθαρή μέρα.Αυτός ο κύκλος προς την κορυφή διαρκεί περίπου 40 λεπτά, και στον καταρράκτη και πίσω είναι μια άλλη ώρα τουλάχιστον.

A path to the mountain, the other to the waterfall. To do both, count 3:30 walk in total. Recommended walking shoes. Both are pretty and worth it!

Totally beautiful, the walk is absolutely worth it! It took us about 80 minutes to get to the waterfall. The track goes up and down, so wear firm shoes! We were alone at the waterfall and even bathed in it (nice and cold).

Definitely worth a stop on your way to Tauranga! Type in "Mountain road" in your navi, you'll pass a yellow sign pointing towards otanewainuku. Keep driving until you see the car park for it. 90 min amazing trek deep into the rainforest. The waterfall is very rewarding! I feel revitalised (and hungry! Bring food and water!). Didn't spot any Kiwis :-P but there were so many other birds around! There are heaps more treks here: some 3,4 and even 8 hours! Could spend the day here but we didn't start the hike until 4pm!
