Beautiful park and a lovely one-hour walk. $30 per person. Definitely worth it; the explanations are clear, and you get a good view of the village remains, plus a beautiful hike with waterfalls!

Ωραίο μουσείο, το οποίο μπορεί να δείξει μια απίστευτη ποσότητα πληροφοριών και ευρημάτων. Σε συνδυασμό με ένα σύντομο περπάτημα 1-1,5 χιλιομέτρων και τους καταρράκτες Wairere. Πολύ ωραίο :) Εάν ο καιρός δεν είναι ιδανικός, πάρτε μια ομπρέλα ή ένα σακάκι βροχής - κυρίως έξω! Ως ιδιοκτήτης WHV πλήρωσε μόνο $ 17 (όπως και οι ντόπιοι). Η κυρία στο μπροστινό τραπέζι προσέφερε αυτό μόνη της - δεν ήταν ενοχλητική.

Expensive for what was there, falls were wonderful $10 maximum would be a fair price?

Fantastic museum, the history of the Pink&White terraces is crazy. Also loved the waterfall trails - it was a little rainy the day we visited, but still a beautiful walk.

Didn't realise it cost $36 per person, didn't enter in the end but very quaint little shop and museum and the staff were dressed in Victorian clothing - nice touch!

Nice and interesting, got a map and a iPod with "guide on video". A bit hard to understand what things were and when to play which movie clip. We got a little bit disappointed, a bit too expensive for what was in there, $32,50 p.p. Waterfall was beautiful tho and very friendly staff in old fashioned clothes. :)
