Follow the track for a ~45min return trip with some smoke, bubbling water and mud

Just arrived on Rotorua? Pass on this beach, it's worth a look really, puddles that bubble, smoke coming out of the ground, big holes bubbling, little walk not long but nice the edge of the beach suffers. Yes it stinks but it's normal and I think it's nice, it's part of the decor. Continue further you will arrive on a really nice point of view on the lake with several kinds of ducks and other birds. Good Trip - The Frenchy ??

Very nice to see the geothermal phenomenon in Rotorua

If you’re in the area it’s nice to walk by Sulfur Bay and check out the area.

Nice walk around the lake and nice view at sulphur bay

It’s really not much. If you don’t know it’s a thermal area, it’s just a ugly and smelly place. There’s a path close to the lake where you can walk.
