Συνολικά, ήταν ένα αξιοπρεπές μέρος για να μείνετε με βασικές εγκαταστάσεις. Πληρώσαμε NZ$40 για δύο άτομα για ένα μη ηλεκτρικό χώρο. Ο καταυλισμός έχει επίσης αρκετούς μακροχρόνιους κατοίκους. Το σύστημα ζεστού ντους θα μπορούσε να βελτιωθεί. Πρέπει να πατήσετε το κουμπί έξω από το μπάνιο για να ενεργοποιήσετε το ζεστό νερό πρώτα. Στη συνέχεια, απενεργοποιείται αυτόματα μετά από λίγα λεπτά, οπότε πρέπει να βγείτε από το ντους και να το πιέσετε ξανά. Ένας μεγαλύτερος χρόνος ζεστού νερού θα ήταν πιο βολικός, ειδικά σε κρύο καιρό.

After 6 weeks of motorhoming NZ we came across this gem. Bronwyn gave us a lovely welcome and this site is superb. Short walk to the beach and river, with the added bonus of fresh fruit ice cream being sold in the car park. New Zealand you are a wonderful place we will miss you xx Andrea and Paul UK

Friendly and welcoming reception. Very quiet campsite mainly with permanent residents. Clean facilities (toilets, showers, kitchen).

We arrived after 6pm and the office was closed. It was no problem at all to pay the morning after. Really nice staff and clean facilities. Paid 36$ for 2 person.

Shower, kitchen and 24hours WiFi is included with the price, 18 NZD per person, which we appreciated. It’s a short walk to the beach where you can find boysenberries and peaches on the side of the path. This was our favorite campsite on the South Island because of the cheap price, kind staff, beautiful location and facilities included.

Office was closed when we arrived at 6. Park is mostly long term (permanent) campers

This was fine for a night before we returned our camper. The kitchen/bathroom facilities are new and well kept. However the shower’s are very difficult to regulate the temperature. This is a mobile home community, so it seems weird to be in their space. The bottom end of the campground is super sketchy.

Very friendly staff, close location, facilities are super clean. We would highly recommend this campground.

Niet reserveren via de website, maar gewoon bellen of ze plek hebben. Reuze aardige 'babysitters' 🤭 Ws ouders van de eigenaars. De vader spreekt NL, zijn vrouw gewoon Engels. Fijne camping, relaxe sfeer, met short cut naar de rivier en het strand. Doen !
