Excellent campsite. Well maintained. Hot showers

Fabulous campground, could not fault anything and we got a pitch for 1 night overlooking the gorge. Perfect.

So beautiful! Stayed an extra night to enjoy. Great easy 10km hike nearby. $30 for two people, no power available but very clean facilities and quiet. Excellent for stargazing

Επική τοποθεσία με μερικά επιλεγμένα σημεία με θέα στο λόφο - άμεση πρόσβαση στην πεζοπορία και το νερό. Οι εγκαταστάσεις είναι ελάχιστες αλλά καθαρές: 3 ντους και 3 τουαλέτες ανά φύλο. Οι τοίχοι σταματούν στο ύψος του κεφαλιού, οπότε η ιδιωτικότητα είναι... προαιρετική. Δεν υπάρχει σταθμός απορριμμάτων, δεν υπάρχει φρέσκο νερό. Ο ιδιοκτήτης είναι ένας θρύλος: καουμπόι καπέλο, άγρια προφορά, οδηγώντας σας στο σημείο σας σαν μια αποστολή GTA.

Ωραίο μέρος, ωραίο ιδιοκτήτη, πραγματικά καθαρό και σε καλή κατάσταση. ζεστό νερό ντους, εγκαταστάσεις για να καθίσει και να μαγειρέψουν και να πλύνουν τα πιάτα.

Very well kept and spaced out site. Got there early as it’s first come, and we got put in a nice private area sectioned by hedges with a view over the river. Hot showers, washing up area and pretty quiet overnight- the road noise is loud during the day but we didn’t mind. Well priced too, $30 for two people is cheaper than some DOC sites that have less! It’s $10pp in winter, $15pp in summer.

Super peaceful and beautiful view. Sheltered from the rain here and woke up to beautiful sunshine. $30 for unpowered campsite for 2, clean and hot showers and washing up/handwashing facilities.

Superb location overlooking the river. Facilities spotlessly clean. The only ‘follow my bike’ to your spot so far in NZ!
