The campsite is open. There were 6 campers here for the entire Kings Birthday weekend. The toilets were clean with disinfectant in them when we arrived on Friday afternoon. It costs $10 per night per vehicle and no power sites. There is no need to book & you can park up anywhere you like. Tenting is also allowed. It is very close to the Little River cycle trail & there is a gravel path you can either walk or bike that goes on the outside of the racecourse.

We arrived around 15:30 and there were only us and two other cars. There are plenty of seats :) There are toilets but no shower. It is a very quiet and nice place!

Quiet place. Very large. Perfect for a peaceful night. Close to Christchurch.

Very large site with vintage but clean toilets. Play area for children and barbecue. $10/night, to be placed in an envelope at the cabin entrance. Less than an hour from Christchurch.

Great camp site! We arrived at 8:30pm in our van with no pre booking and paid at the kiosk at the entrance. $10 in total. Nice flat campsite with loads of space so was no problem finding a spot. Has good clean toilets. No flies, and really good cell signal.

Spacious spot for many campervans. Quiet. Great place with lots of games. NZ$10 to be paid in an envelope at the entrance.

This place is wonderful! So much space, daily cleaned toilets and a view on the nearby racecourse! It isn't closed for sure, we were here with others. The line mentioning so, must be outdated.

Περάσαμε δύο νύχτες σε αυτόν τον καταυλισμό, $ 10 εισιτήριο για να πληρώσει σε ένα κουτί. Πολύς χώρος για να παρκάρετε, λίγοι άνθρωποι και πολύ ήσυχο! Οι τουαλέτες καθαρίζονται κάθε μέρα και είναι δυνατό να γεμίσετε το βαν με νερό.

Great place to stop for a night. Toilets are old but cleaned daily. So much room. No need to book.
