Wow, this is a gem. There’s only four spots up here at MOA Hut so we felt very lucky to have booked ahead in good time. The campground is located on a secluded farm following a beautiful drive around the east side of the lake. We felt at home straight away, the hut ticks all the right boxes; cosy, warm, clean (so clean!!), impeccable view of Mount Cook (on a clear day) and very quiet. Couldn’t recommend this place any higher.

It just kept getting better. I was looking at where to stay in the area, and wanting to see mount cook, and noticed there was a campsite with a view and opposite the mountain range. Then...it only had 4 spots so it was more likely to be quiet and encourage people who really want to experience the piece of the mountains. Then...an adventure along a gravel track along a beautiful turquoise lake, no one else on the road. Then...a beautiful camping spot with a perfect view of snow capped mountains.

Only come here if you have a guarantee of good weather. You're isolated, with 30 km of gravel road to contend with. Apparently, the view is superb. But with three days of rain and clouds, we couldn't verify that :( The Wi-Fi is good when it works; a power outage left us without a connection for 24 hours. The hosts are very friendly and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. The cost is expensive at $120.

We do have a generator on site, so all essential services were operating as normal, unfortunately the only thing affected was the Wi-Fi, which does require the main network to be functioning. As a remote high-country location, weather can be unpredictable. The road is a council maintained public road and while we do our best to make this clear before booking we understand this may not suit everyone. Sadly the weather itself is something we can't control. We appreciate your feedback”

Αυτό το μέρος είναι απολύτως καταπληκτικό. Ένα must για όλους. Έχουμε ταξιδέψει για αρκετές εβδομάδες τώρα και αυτό είναι το καλύτερο κάμπινγκ που έχουμε επισκεφθεί. Απίστευτη θέα και πραγματικά άνετες εγκαταστάσεις.

Τι απίστευτο μέρος. Η θέα είναι αξεπέραστη και οι εγκαταστάσεις είναι υπέροχες. θα ήθελα να μπορούσαμε να είχαμε μείνει περισσότερο.

Μείναμε σε ένα αυτοεξοπλισμένο μοτοσικλέτα για μια νύχτα στα τέλη Μαρτίου. Σε σύγκριση με τους διαδρόμους χαλκού στην Αυστραλία, ο δρόμος χαλκού μέσα και έξω ήταν ένα όνειρο! Οδήγηση λίγο πιο γρήγορα και δεν θα αισθανθείτε την βαθμολογία τόσο πολύ. Αξίζει την οδήγηση επειδή οι απόψεις είναι fab. Απίστευτο μικρό εξοχικό σπίτι με μπάνιο και κουζίνα, καμινάδα, μεγάλο wifi. τα αστέρια είναι επίσης εκπληκτικά. Αγαπούσα να ακούω τις αγελάδες τη νύχτα. Το μόνο πράγμα που με έβαλε ήταν το γεγονός ότι θα μπορούσατε να πληρώσετε για να κυνηγήσετε ελάφια στην ιδιοκτησία.

Υπέροχο μέρος με όλα όσα μπορείτε να βρείτε στο μικρό σπίτι.

Όμορφο απομονωμένο μέρος, σίγουρα μοναδικό και ένα από τα αγαπημένα μας μέρη. Η διαδρομή είναι πλωτή αν χτυπήσει σε ένα μεγάλο βαν, αλλά αξίζει τον κόπο. Η καμπίνα έχει όλα όσα χρειάζεστε με μαγείρεμα κλπ, 2 ζεστές ντους. Περιορισμένο σε 4 χώρους έτσι αισθάνθηκε πολύ οικεία και άνετη. ιδιοκτήτες πολύ ανταποκρινόμενοι και έσπευσαν να μας ελέγξουν. Απολύτως εκπληκτική θέα της λίμνης Pukaki, το βουνό Cook και δίπλα από καμία ελαφριά ρύπανση για την όμορφη θέα του Γαλαξία. συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!
