Single person $12.50 casual camping. Road condition when dry ok for 2wd vehicles and towing vehicles.

Been coming here for 21 years for a 2 week spell in summer, love the spot. Still a magic spot to stay

We have a new 8m campervan and the road was fine - we've been on alot worse! A great place to set up camp if you like a fantastic lake view; peace and quiet; TV, phone range, and internet all worked fine; clean toilets; water taps; rubbish collection; dump station. Heaps of spots to choose from and there's no restrictions on how much room you take. Brilliant place!

The road in here is certainly not for the faint hearted motorhomer. The road is very rutted but we took it VERY slowly. There were certainly lots of permanent caravans set up but when we were there they were mostly unoccupied. Lots of places to park under trees. $10 pp. Lovely spot and in our opinion well worth the drive in.

Good luck getting in there without a proper 4wd, roads very bumpy. Seemingly unfriendly locals with sites already set up so not much room for tenting (no grass either)

The road in was a nightmare. Very bumpy almost destroyed our van. When we finally got there it was like a ghost town. No camp host to be found. Many local sites all fenced off. And no indication on where we were allowed to park. The few locals that were about stared at us like we're were diseased. Very unsettling.. We finally found a very dusty site. If I could have got my $20 out of the box I would have and left.

Very nice campsite, great views and a lovely couple in charge. Toilet facilities were basic but very clean. Strongly recommend visiting.

Very nice view at the lake, if good weather, perfect view to mount cook. Clean water. Toilets basic, tent sites under trees, but no grass. In the night lots of stars. I loved this place for it's beauty.

The place is beautiful. But the site is busy. There are very few toilets for the size of the campsite. The shower is closed. If you sleep in a tent, no grass, the ground is hard as concrete, stones and more. And the access road is gravel and quite long. But a great place anyway.
