A real gem of a site…hadn’t booked but arrived early no problem to get onto a hook up….$50 a night and 100yards from the sea. Waimārama beach is superb…golden sand and a steady small wave. Beach lifeguard service was on duty today. A real easy going vibe make sure you travel to this site it’s well worth it. Lastly on route look out for the Red Bridge roadside cafe, great coffee and cake… NZ we love ya Andrea and Paul UK

Great campsite right on the beach…didn’t book but arrived early and was welcomed to park up where we choose. As the day wore on more people arrived, but there is plenty of room for powered and non powered needs.

$40 for 2 peoples, and $1 for a shower 😂

Fantastic spot with amazing views … Karen was so friendly and welcoming great experience and the coffee was great right there in the campground highly recommend

We arrived later in the evening and had no trouble choosing a spot at this beautiful, quiet campsite. Simple, very friendly, and affordable; we can only recommend it.

Αυτό είναι ένα φανταστικό μέρος. Η ηρεμία του μας εξέπληξε. Η παραλία είναι τόσο κοντά που μπορείτε πραγματικά να ακούσετε τα κύματα όλη την ώρα. Οι εγκαταστάσεις είναι καθαρά. Η Karen, η οποία τρέχει το μέρος, είναι τόσο χρήσιμη και ευγενική. μας βοήθησε να πάρουμε πίσω τα πράγματα που αφήσαμε πίσω. Σας ευχαριστούμε για αυτό και πάλι, θα συμπεριλάβουμε αυτή τη στάση και πάλι στο επόμενο ταξίδι μας!!!

Όμορφη τοποθεσία, απλές αλλά επαρκείς εγκαταστάσεις

Στα αγγλικά (και όχι σε αυτό το ανόητο γερμανικό ή γαλλικό! Ταξιδιώτες: συμπεριφέρονται και προσαρμόζονται!). Καλό και φιλικό προσωπικό. Το site είναι καθαρό και καλά συντηρημένο. ζεστό ντους, καθαρή κουζίνα με ψυγείο και κατάψυξη. Σίγουρα συνιστάται.

Very relaxed camp ground, basic but clean facilities, expensive if your self contained but okay for a stopover. Beach is patrolled by lifeguards during summer which made for safe swimming. Another lovely east coast beach.

We were hoping to get a few nights here end-Jan however no reply on email or the phone I left a message too so that was disappointing.
