Excellent campground, currently $40 because it's the off-season. Kayaking is available (free of charge) on the river. Magnificent view of the waterfall! Hot and clean showers, small but well-equipped kitchen (2 microwaves, 2 toasters, 4-burner stove).

This campground is well worth the stop. So happy I booked for 3 nights. Very clean kitchen and bathrooms, great views, strong WiFi, excellent staff and management. Also included a small continental breakfast which was a complete surprise! Short drive to main attractions.

As well as being in an absolutely stunning location, the ultimate in friendly and welcoming hosts await you here at Waterfalls. We had a real adventure of our (initial) one night stay which was the third in a row of constant rain in the Paihia area. The owners were so informative and welcoming and, even though they’d closed to walk-ins due to safety considerations with the proximity to the river, we were able to park up in the carpark. So good that we went back to enjoy it in better weather!

Absolutely fantastic campsite! A perfect location by private beach (safe swimming and kayaking) facing the waterfalls. Huge pitches. Tranquil place to relax. Well placed for Bay of Islands visits and Paihia beach & bars. Michael is very helpful and friendly. Facilities are very clean. Stayed for 2 nights, wish it could have been more.

A beautiful campsite with good facilities. We had such a brilliant stay! The host is very friendly & helpful and even lent us kayaks. The ducks are very friendly!

Υπέροχο μέρος! 15$ για ένα βαν και ένα άτομο. ζεστό ντους, τουαλέτα, κουζίνα, ψυγείο και κατάψυξη και μια πολύ ωραία θέα !

Πολύ καθαρό κάμπινγκ, κουζίνα, τουαλέτες και ντους. Όλα είναι τέλεια! Υπέροχη θέα και πολύ φιλικός οικοδεσπότης! Σας γνωρίζει με το όνομά σας σε ένα δευτερόλεπτο και δίνει πολλές πληροφορίες και είναι εξαιρετικά χρήσιμο!

Everything is perfect here, the people, the setting, the amenities! A real jewel. Between the Falls, the walks, and the wonderful hospitality, we couldn’t be happier.
