Sandy lake, kids enjoyed splashing about. We didn't stay the night, but only parked up to have a play and picnic lunch then left. The water was very clear.

It's a lake, there are better elsewhere ...

So, so beautiful !! Definitely one of the most beautiful lakes in New Zealand! Even in rainy weather. I will come back in summer!

Beautiful lake, relax and peaceful, huge grass around for chilling and pic nic. We did the small track (kai iwi track) but not really an interesting track ..

Great place for a picnic! We went on a very clear day so the waters looked amazingly blue and turquoise

Beautiful lake !! Google maps stop you before arriving at the lake. Continue a little longer then you will be there. We went to Pine Beach it was superb ☺
