Fantastic spot with toilets and a nice view. Phone signal was good and not a lot of sandflys. We were alone and the only sketchy thing was that in the middle of the night someone came, stopped and shined their carlight right at us. Probably someone wanted to use the toilet because after 5 minutes they disappeared. But everything else was perfect!

Μια πολύ ωραία και μεγάλη κατασκήνωση. Φτάσαμε ακριβώς όταν ο φροντιστής κόβει το χορτάρι. Το έδαφος είναι ακριβώς στην αρχή μιας ωραίας πεζοπορίας. Υπάρχει ένα ρυάκι που ρέει δίπλα στον καταυλισμό, οπότε να είστε ενήμεροι για τις αμμόλοφες. Σας συνιστούμε πραγματικά να πάτε εδώ! Οι τουαλέτες είναι ωραίες (βασικές).

Ωραίο μέρος, ξεπλύνετε καθαρές τουαλέτες, ένα μπουκάλι, καλό σήμα, ήμασταν μόνοι, είναι πολύ ήσυχο.

This is a magic spot!!! We were the only ones here. Toilets were flushing and very clean. There is a beautiful little Christmas trail done up with decorations and lights etc. There is a 250m walk to a lookout over the Otago area. There are a few more longer walks from this point but we didn’t have time to do them.

Well maintained by David Edgar. Easy new 300m track to view West Otago. The other 1120m, 30 minute Whisky Track loop track also good. The track going further up to the falls is in need of a lot of work. We went another 100m up past the base of the falls before turning back as still another 12 km to go before reaching Black Gully. Quiet, semi remote area. Handy to walks up the mountain. We were the only ones, could feel isolated of you’re not used to it! Few locals going up the tracks.

Sandflies 1 us nil I am sure it won't be like that all the time but very unpleasant today

Very good place to spend a night at as being a lovely bush area with walks and with toilets if required, also very quiet with no road traffic.

Limited area to park on the grass. Toilets and lovely bushwalks. Overlooks farms. Large gravel area too, limited cell phone access
