Εάν αγαπάτε την πεζοπορία και έχετε εμπειρία εύρεσης δρομολογίων, καλό εξοπλισμό, καλά πόδια στους βράχους και χάρτες, με μια τεράστια τσάντα φαγητού, εξετάστε μερικές εναλλακτικές καμπύλες. συστήνω Sunset Saddle από το Angelus Hut στο Hopeless Hut και το Moss Pass για να συνδεθείτε με την κοιλάδα D'Urville.

Προγραμματισμένα 4 ημέρες σκαμπανεβάσματα, ξεκίνησε στο Mt Robert Carpark, 3h για να φτάσει Speargrass καμπίνα και 5h περισσότερο για να φτάσει Sabine καμπίνα, στη συνέχεια έπρεπε να γυρίσει γύρω bc από ξαφνική μεγάλη βροχή (πρέπει να διασχίσετε τους ατμούς πριν να φτάσετε Blue Lake Hut). 1η μέρα αρκετά έντονη, όπως το μονοπάτι κατά μήκος της λίμνης Rotoroa είχε ξεπλυθεί μακριά. μην υποτιμάτε αυτό το σκαμπανεβάσματα όπως έκανα, θεωρώ τον εαυτό μου ως επιβεβαιωμένο, αλλά αν ο καιρός είναι υγρός, υπάρχουν ρίζες σκαμπανεβάσματα παντού.

Advanced hike to the blue lake! Takes at least two days and even longer if you add the blue lake as additional part to the Travers-Sabine-Circuit! We did that in 6 days. There are several DOC huts. Best hike (better than Kepler etc.) in NZ so far! And the blue lake is amazing :)

Did in September 2017. Wrong season but great hiking. Keep walking little bit further after blue lake, will get to lake Constance.

Very hard to get there (for a reason is the clearest water in the world!!) You need to be fit and not for beginners as I am. The worst for me was the absence of indicative signals. After many hours of walk you never know where the next hut will be. But if you are motivated enough, go for it!! It's a gorgeous trekking

Awesome place! Not easy to get there but worth it

Probably one of the best scenery in NZ. Absolutely stunning with Blue Lake and Lake Constance a little further up the track. It literally is blue!
