Σκαλοπάτια σε όλη τη διαδρομή, και πραγματικά βαρετό έδαφος. κάναμε την πεζοπορία σε μια βροχερή και θολή μέρα, δεν μπορούσαμε καν να δούμε το βουνό στο σημείο του Henry λόγω των σύννεφων. Κάντε μια άλλη πεζοπορία, αν είναι σε μια θολή μέρα, οπότε δεν αξίζει τον κόπο

Overnight parking is not allowed at the carpark! Beautiful views from the top, but 5km uphill only with stairs! Takes us 4h (up and down)..

Η κυρία στο κέντρο επισκεπτών συνέστησε αυτό το πάρκο να μείνει για τη νύχτα και να ξεκινήσει το μονοπάτι νωρίς το πρωί (4am), το οποίο είναι εύκολο επειδή είναι όλα boardwalk / βήματα και καλά συντηρημένα.

Μεγάλη πεζοπορία από εδώ, όλα τα πεζοδρόμια που μπορεί να είναι λειαντικά και ειδικά παγωμένα από τη γραμμή των δέντρων, ώστε να πάρετε το χρόνο σας.

Nice hike, 1h40 to get to the hut and 15 minutes more to reach the pond 1h25 to go down to the parking, the view is breathtaking! Never leave the wooden slats that form the same path 2 cm, I ducked twice in the mud to the ankle

A wonderful hike! Many steps, but with paths to walk absolutely feasible, even for beginners! A breathtaking view of Mount Taranaki. One of the best hikes so far on the North Island!

Two hours to get up stopping taking lots of pictures and breaks. Was clear all morning but by the time we got to the tarns the peak was clouded over. Over all it was a nice hike

We found a pair of glasses on the track today (7th of July). Left them at the start of the track on the "Kiwi Zone" sign.

The views at the top above the hut and at the tarn on a sunny winter’s day are so beautiful it’s just wonderful, and make the 3km of boardwalk steps worth it ?. Make sure you come early before the afternoon clouds roll in. It is quite a challenging track because of all the steps and constant two hour grind uphill but the gradient is mostly gradual. It took us (72 and 65) two hours to Pouakai Hut and another 20 minutes to the tarn. The new car park is great for parking a camper.
