Only 4 spots so arrive early, we stayed one night late April and were the 3rd spot at around 4pm! All 4 full by 7pm. Quiet location, felt safe, police were around on the morning but no bother they seemed to be checking things were quiet? Robo toilet other end of the car park, open during daylight hours. Nice reserve and bike tracks nearby. Good view of Kapiti Island

Great place to stay, very calm and quiet during the night (even on a saturday night). Locals were friendly and had a chat. We had a stunning sunset and saw some beautiful birds. There was a clean toilet which even played music haha.

Very lovely campsite with a clean robo-toilet nearby! The toilet appeared to be closed after 8pm.

Pretty cool spot, decent toilets. Only problem, some local kids came up to us to tell us that at 8pm people would come and ask us for money to stay on the pitch. Of course it's false and it was meant to scare us, but we left because we didn't want to be bothered and disturbed during the evening.

Λίγο άσχημο ίσως, αλλά μετά την ελευθερία κάμπινγκ γύρω από τη Νέα Ζηλανδία για 8 εβδομάδες, αυτό ήταν το αγαπημένο μου μέρος! Έμεινα δύο φορές - μία φορά στα τέλη Φεβρουαρίου και στη συνέχεια και πάλι στις αρχές Απριλίου. τον Φεβρουάριο, ήρθα στις 1 μ.μ. και τα 4 σημεία ήταν γεμάτα στις 5 μ.μ. · τον Απρίλιο υπήρχαν ακόμα ελεύθεροι χώροι όλη τη νύχτα. Είναι απολύτως εκπληκτικό να περπατάς γύρω κοιτάζοντας πάνω από το ποτάμι, τον ουρανό και στη συνέχεια τη θάλασσα ακριβώς στην άλλη πλευρά των αμμόλοφων. τα ηλιοβασιλέματα πίσω από το νησί Kapiti είναι εξωπραγματικά.

Μια καλή και ίσως καλύτερη εναλλακτική λύση είναι η παραλία Otaki.

At 6 p.m. all places are full or overcrowded. We won't take the risk of a $400 fine.
