Great place, definitely recommended - not only for birders!

Αυτό ήταν ένα από τα κορυφαία σημεία του ταξιδιού μας! Μάθαμε τόσα πολλά για τα πουλιά της Νέας Υόρκης και τις προσπάθειες διατήρησης που γίνονται σε όλο τον κόσμο.

Πραγματικά υπέροχο! Πήγαμε για μια ωραία βόλτα στα φτερά των πτηνών και παρακολουθήσαμε τα wrybills να πετούν και άλλα ακτοπλοϊκά πουλιά να περιπλανιούνται. Το προσωπικό ήταν εξαιρετικά ωραίο και ενημερωτικό και μας άφησαν να κάνουμε ντους εδώ σε αντάλλαγμα για μια δωρεά. προσφέρουν επίσης καταλύματα στυλ backpacker, 25$ pp.

Beware of the tides. When we were there it was low tide and we couldn't see any birds...

Nicely set up walk and bird hides - just ensure you go at high tide! The Centre further up the road has plenty of information and binoculars for hire.
