The site is not protected everybody can enter... Certainly not expensive but not crazy...

Booked a power site. Water points at the site and dump station were not working... Had to top up water beside their office. Data coverage was bad too. But otherwise, really quiet.

Really nice accommodation for the one night after climbing Tongariro. The man at the reception was lovely and very welcoming. He even upgraded us when we arrived. Price was decent for a room. Nice hot shower. TV in room was great.

Bit pricey for what it is but perfectly adequate facilities for after the Tongariro crossing hike. Good high pressure and hot shower

I was suppose to stay 1 night but I stay 2. Great place to camp, friendly people and helpful. Quiet in the camp but we can hear the road and the wifi is good only when you're close to the office.

Πέρασα δύο νύχτες εδώ και το βρήκα τέλεια. Ναι, οι εγκαταστάσεις είναι παλιές, αλλά είναι εντάξει για την τιμή στην περιοχή. το Wi-Fi είναι πραγματικά τρομερό, αλλά αλλιώς είναι ήσυχο και δεν είναι πολύ απασχολημένο, οπότε μπορώ να το συστήσω.

Quit run down, but acceptional. Its the cheapest Campground at the Taupo region. 50 min drive to the town center, but good drive to Tangorino. We stayed there for 3 nights, but did some stops at Free Camping Grounds in between. I can still recommend it.

Way to expensive for what you get. Just booked it, as every other location was full. Now I know why this one was not full…

Έχω μείνει εδώ πολλές φορές όταν στην περιοχή.. πολλά δωμάτια για να μετακινηθείτε.. βολική τοποθεσία στο κέντρο της πόλης.. αν αναμένετε 5 αστέρια πηγαίνουν αλλού.. όλες οι εγκαταστάσεις είναι εδώ που χρειάζεστε για νύχτα ή δύο.. είχαν χρησιμοποιηθεί κουζίνα.. συσκευές όλα δούλευαν.. κατσαρόλες κλπ παρέχονται.. gr8 ντους υψηλής πίεσης και ζεστό.. ένα ασφαλές μέρος για να είναι νομίζω.. σίγουρα τείνουν να μείνουν εδώ την επόμενη επίσκεψη.. κρατήστε το καθαρό συνάδελφοι κάμπινγκ!!

Do not book this campsite it is very run down and outdated, we didn't even get out of the van. We drove around to our bay and just left. We would not even call it a campsite.
