Η πλημμύρα έχει πάει πίσω πολλά για να παρκάρετε χωρίς να ανησυχείτε, αλλά θα ελέγξετε τον καιρό πριν πάτε, όπως οι ντόπιοι είπαν ότι είναι επιρρεπής σε πλημμύρες σε έντονη βροχή.

Αυτό το μέρος είχε πλημμυρίσει στις 6 Σεπτεμβρίου 2026... οπότε προχωρήστε με προσοχή αν βρέχει συνεχώς!

Very cute campground with a view on the mountains and the possibility to swim in the lake. 2 flushing toilets and a changing room (per women/men), cell service is okay and 10 spots to park. Arrive early as this spot is often taken by motorhomes of people who come here to fish :)

Allowed places are not so nice because only the first cars have a side view to the lake and there is not much space between the cars. A lot of space in the area where camping is prohibited. I moved to a different place.

Υπέροχο σημείο δίπλα στη λίμνη με μπανιέρα. Περιορισμένοι χώροι FC, να είστε προειδοποιημένοι: αν παρκάρετε έξω από τους καθορισμένους χώρους, οι rangers / συμβούλιο ελέγχει τακτικά την περιοχή και θα σας προσβάλει $ 400. Πηγαίνετε μέχρι τις 6 π.μ. για να αποφύγετε το συμβούλιο και βεβαιωθείτε ότι θα φύγετε μέχρι τις 8 π.μ. για να αποφύγετε ένα πρόστιμο Φτάσαμε αργά σε κανένα χώρο και ξύπνησα στις 6 π.μ. στο συμβούλιο που έφτασε για να ελέγξει την περιοχή. Θα μπορούσε να μας έχει προσβάλει, αλλά ήταν ωραίο και ήμασταν τυχεροί που δεν μας πρόστιμο. μας είπε να φύγουμε πριν από τις 8 π.μ.

Όμορφο μέρος με μια λίμνη στην οποία μπορείτε να κολυμπήσετε! Το περπάτημα μέχρι το Mt Te Kinga είναι επίσης μεγάλη διασκέδαση. Κατασκηνώθηκε για 2 νύχτες. Φτάσαμε στις 2 μ.μ. και πήραμε το τελευταίο διαθέσιμο σημείο σε μια ημέρα της εβδομάδας. Αμμοθύελλες απολύτως θανατηφόρα εδώ - δαγκώνουν παντού παρά το γεγονός ότι είναι πλήρως καλυμμένο και χρησιμοποιώντας όλα τα είδη των αποτρεπτικών ουσιών.

This is a very beautiful freedom campground which I can definitely recommend checking out. You have a beautiful view with the lake, the beach and the nature surrounding you. NOTE : You need to be there relatively early in the day, as the 10 Freedom campsites fill up very quickly. We were there at 2pm and there was only one spot left. And bring something to protect you from sandflies, as it is very humid here due to the nature and the lake, so there are lots of them.

Very beautiful place, got here on a rainy day, luckily there was a space as there is not that many of them. Got here around 13:00 with a lot of huge RVs on the spots. Had a great swim in the lake 🤙🏻. Toilets are pretty close and very clean with two bins for rubbish. Had a 2 lines of 4G, Spark is my provider and even VPN works fine here.

Bequtiful! Please don't come with a car and your fucking trailer to block 2 spots
