Could not ask for more from a paid campsite. Full use of clean kitchen and bathroom facilities for $15pp. I’ve been to numerous camps in New Zealand and most showers are time limited or cost additional tokens to use, not here. Showers are not limited, very warm and good pressure. Owners are very accommodating and also run a lovely little cafe alongside the campsite. Would recommend.

Has all the basics at a good price !

Πληρώσαμε 30$ για δύο άτομα. Το μέρος φαίνεται ωραίο, έχετε πολύ χώρο για να παρκάρετε. Οι ανέσεις είναι κακές tho - έχετε κουζίνα και ένα μπάνιο για δύο φύλα. Δεν υπάρχουν κλειδαριές στις τουαλέτες δεν καταλαβαίνω πραγματικά γιατί. Οι ντους ήταν πραγματικά ζεστές και η πίεση ήταν πολύ ισχυρή. Το φαγητό στο καφέ ήταν καλό και οι ιδιοκτήτες ήταν φιλικοί. Το χειρότερο πράγμα ήταν οι αμμόλοφες - μας έτρωγαν ζωντανούς. Ήταν μια μάχη. Εκεί όπου οι βλάβες τους, το χειρότερο που έχουμε βιώσει ποτέ.

Αυτό το μέρος ήταν υπέροχο! Οδηγούσαμε το RV μας στην κορυφή, δίπλα στα τραπέζια και είχαμε μια πραγματικά ωραία θέα στους λόφους και τον ποταμό. Οι εγκαταστάσεις ήταν καθαρές, το εστιατόριο ήταν εξαιρετικό και ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν επίσης εξαιρετικά ωραίος. Περπατήσαμε στο ποτάμι, απολάμβανε την θέα και είδαμε λαμπερά σκουλήκια τη νύχτα. Μερικές αμμόλοφες, αλλά είχαμε αποτρεπτικά και δεν δαγκώσαμε τόσο πολύ.

Looked a bit sketchy so I ended up not staying here after taking a tour of the place.

What a gem! $15 pp for the night, good kitchen facilities, warm showers and an epic view. Can grab some beers from the cafe and the food looked really good though didn't eat there. Great spot.

Good spot to stay. Lots of room to set up. Stayed one night and had no issues.

Let's start with the good points. The Wi-Fi connection is excellent, and the facilities are good, including a kitchen and toilet. It's a simple parking area with plenty of spaces. However, there are a lot of sandflies! It's almost impossible to get out of the car without getting bitten. Okay for the price.

Very very nice campsite. Friendly owner. The bar was relaxing, the drinks and food were cheap and delicious. The view from the bar was very nice. Campsite is just a large grass and gravel field, which does the job. Facilities are very basic, but for this price you usually don't get any facilities at all. Highly recommend for a one night stay.

Awesome spot with great views! Super friendly staff and situated perfectly next to the river. For $15 I'm extremely impressed! Looking forward to hitting the bar later! Super cheap drinks! Look out! Haha
