Gran campamento en medio de la naturaleza. Hay solo 8 terrenos, reserve con antelación a través del sitio web del Gobierno de Queensland. Los baños son increíblemente limpios y completamente limpios, no hay duchas, es sólo un campamento de arbustos. En solo unos minutos puede llegar a varias caminatas cortas en el bosque tropical y a las plataformas de observación de platypus. También vimos tortugas, kookaburras y lagartos de monitoreo. Sólo tuvimos recepción celular en la propia Eungella, no aquí.

Lugar hermoso, el camino para llegar aquí era un poco áspero en nuestra casa de moto pero lo hicimos.

Estábamos aquí en mayo de 2024. Eungella significa tierra en las nubes. Así que está húmedo y varios grados más frío que en Mackay. Este es un campamento de bosques. Los sitios están bastante cerca lado a lado y solo hay dos saltos híbridos. Pero nos sentamos en nuestro camper y observamos un platypus en el río a través de las ventanas de los coches. Esto compensa mucho. Sin embargo, nos fuimos lo antes posible para encontrar un lugar seco y más lujoso.

Bonito campamento, fácil de ver los platypus y algunos bosques tropicales agradables cerca para observar aves. también vimos algunos wallabies de roca saltando cerca del camino Como este es un sitio de campamento de parque que necesita reservar esto con antelación. ¡Puede hacer esto usando el wifi en el pequeño café al lado del centro de información, pero atm sólo está abierto desde las 10 de la mañana hasta las 3 de la tarde en el frío sol!

Wow! Toller Platz direkt am Fluss mit den Schnabeltieren. 3 Aussichtspunkte innerhalb 1km Entfernung zum Schnabeltier entdecken. Abfahrt könnte aufgrund der Steigung für sehr große Mobile schwierig sein.

It is a nice little camp with a lot to see around. We came in the afternoon and saw a few platypus from the viewing deck. It is a rainforest area so be aware that there are mosquitoes and leeches around. We did the walk in the morning and saw some platypus in the river again. For two people it was 14$.

Book in advance! No reception! Ranger come to check. Clean toilet :) In the middle of the nature, lots of animal noises, unfortunately lots of mosquitos and if you do the walk be careful about the leechs. They attacked my fiancé but we saw lots of birds and platypus :) Welcome to the rainforest.

We hadn't booked and the computer ?️ wasn't working due to the storm ⛈️ and the rain ☔️ ?️. Luckily a guard allowed us to stay anyway. Beautiful place by the river. We slept like kings. Not a sound except that of nature. Toilets ? clean. Watch out for black ? snakes Watch out ⚠️ leech ?. Tested for you it hurts and it bleeds. We saw plenty of platypus even from the deck. There are platforms set up to see them. You have to be patient. The best time: at sunrise ?. The light is fabulous. Pascal & Pascal ??

Lovely and peaceful spot. Toilets fine. Camp by the riverside for evening and morning wildlife: we saw platypus, turtles, an echidna and hunting kingfishers. Also heaps of fireflies just after sunset, and so many stars! Book in advance through government NP website.

Love this place, spotted cute platypus in the morning from our tent. We have our own hanging shower, we used boiled water to have hot shower. Be aware of the leeches when you walk into the rainforest across the river (they really love me, but not my hubby?).
