We didn’t realize there was a $16 ferry fee to enter and another $16 to leave, so keep that in mind when budgeting your trip. Before arriving at the campsite, we also had to buy supplies from a nearby store where everything was at least $5 more expensive than regular supermarket prices. That said, we had a really peaceful stay. The campsite is close to the beach, the sites are beautiful, and you can have a campfire as long as you bring your own fire pit. Enjoyed our night stay here, had kangaroos just outside our camper van which we were amazed by (we’re from Ireland). Literally minutes from the beach and plenty of amenities on site. What we didn’t realise was that you had to get a ferry boat over and back which is 16 dollars each way so should be factored in the cost
Highly overpriced at $63 AUD for a powered site and $48 for an unpowered one—not worth it at all. The showers have long queues at all times, and while the amenities are clean, there aren't enough to accommodate the campers. However, the location is fantastic—very close to the sea, though quite remote from the city
Estábamos apuntando para el sitio del río Noosa, pero no llegamos. Nervioso fue por esto para la 2a noche en una enorme casa de automóviles! Sólo aquí por 1 noche pero tan feliz que acabamos aquí... El ferry fue fácil. Las instalaciones estaban absolutamente en el punto. Pero el escenario... Derecho del ferry... ¿Qué lugar... Hermoso. Mejor lugar que nos detuvimos. Un lugar tan hermoso. Fácil de llegar (cuidado con el ferry pero no un desafío). comodidades limpias, cerca de la playa. Estábamos afortunados de ver ballenas desde la orilla.
Muy buen camping! Gran atmósfera al aire libre. Maravillosa naturaleza, tranquila, acceso directo a la hermosa playa! Los baños y duchas eran nuevos y muy limpios.
Magnífico campamento en el corazón de la naturaleza y a poca distancia del océano. Vimos canguros allí. Hay todo lo que necesitas (duchas, baños, cocina, etc.). Accesible por un ferry de 10 dólares.
Ubicación perfecta justo al lado de la playa. playa sin patrullas pero tranquila cuando estábamos allí.
Excelente sitio, un poco caro, pero porque es de calidad superior.
muy buen campamento y ubicación, justo al lado de la playa. tanto los hombres como las mujeres duchas tenían agua caliente gratuita. los baños estaban limpios. la cocina es grande, con bbq gratis, sábanas, un congelador y un gran frigorífico. sitio sin electricidad 1 noche: 39$.
