Nos encantó este lugar tanto que hemos estado allí dos veces! Hay mucho espacio, un bloque de baño con agua corriente, y una zona de picnic con fuente de agua. No hay duchas y no mucha señal telefónica. Aparentemente hay crocs en el río pero no vimos ninguno (ten cuidado aunque!). Hemos intentado pescar junto al río (desafortunadamente sin suerte) y fuimos a la playa para ver el amanecer que era hermoso. Lo mejor es reservar en línea antes de llegar allí - creo que es gratis quedarse allí durante 48 horas.

Stayed last night. Plenty of room. Felt safe. Water, toilets and play equipment for the kids. We did register with Council prior but there’s a QR code on board at entrance. No shops of any kind. Enjoy

It's really great that the town is so friendly and welcoming to campers. The site is very well-maintained and quiet, and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, there's no Telstra signal, but there are toilets and trash cans, plenty of picnic tables, and a BBQ. Be sure to reserve in advance.

Free but needs to be booked through Townsville council website. Flushing toilets, fires allowed, drinking water, playground, lots of covered seating, electric bbqs. It's a big space but very popular so still fairly full. Fishing from boat ramp next to camp site or head north along the beach to the gully. Crocs in area, very poor phone signal

We loved staying here! We stayed for two nights - you have to register with the Council however very limited reception on site so recommend doing before arrival :) no noise as its far off the highway big grassy area - might be more crowded on weekends

Gran lugar de acampada gratis! Con comodidades muy limpias, BBQ y mesas de picnic. Muy tranquilo y mucha vida silvestre como canguros, pájaros y si tienes suerte crocs. Poco de señal telefónica dependiendo de tu ubicación (Telstra).
