Rates are higher. Payed $45, for 1 night. There are no unpowered sites, as said before.
Great location. Paid for a powered site. No unpowered. Bathrooms look like fancy hotel ensuites and are the nicest camp bathrooms I’ve seen. The wifi works over the whole ground and is super strong. The bbqs are also really clean. Location is right next to penneshaw ferry stop so great for a late arrival or early departure and is right next to the beach. Also a coin operated washing machine and washing line didnt spot a dryer though. The caretakers are also super friendly too. One of the best campsites we’ve stayed at.
Great location for late arrival off the Ferry. The sure is undergoing redevelopment and will be very good when completed. Showers are Mini Ensuite and amazing as per other comments. We paid $30 / Night for a Couple in 7 metre Campervan. Would stay again.
Really nice small camp. New amenities and the best hot shower I’ve ever seen. Would 100% recommend. Handy if catching ferry in the morning.
I would definitely NOT recommend this place. We booked a spot and when we arrive the owner was not friendly and yelled at us that this spot was already booked for someone else, he was so agressive with us even though he admits it was his fault ... Anyway avoid
Very good wifi but minimal equipment for the rest. Very clean and new sanitary facilities. No real kitchen, no electric hob for cooking. Perfect location for late ferry arrival.
Geschlossen.
Sanitary facilities totally outdated. BBQ area should not be used, dirty and unkempt!
Not a bad place to stay, but definitely not worth the money. If you get to stay on the first few spots, you've got a beautiful ocean view. There is no reception, just pick an available spot. The showers are very, very old, but warm and free from charge. There are notes that the amenities are cleaned daily, but the fresh mold in the shower shows something else. Water and power, no dumppoint. As said, ok, just not for AUD 40 (2 adults, 2 small kids)
A lovely little spot with great views over the water to mainland Australia. Dog friendly grassed sites. Quite rustic but the toilets and showers are cleaned daily. Beach and penguin parade tours 100 metres away. Pub Iga and restaurants close by. Close to ferry.
