Arrived just prior to 7 (website states 8:30pm office hour in dec) which caretaker was unhappy with. Booking through campermate wasn’t received by venue. Caretaker very rude and unhelpful stating there wasn’t a booking . I showed him the booking and payment and he said he had never heard of campermate and was reluctant to accept the booking. He continually emphasised that it wasn’t his fault that the booking hadn’t come through implying it was my fault. Very unhelpful, rude staff member.
Great base for cradle mountain if you need a powered site, it’s peaceful and lovely surroundings. The staff are very friendly
Awesome campground! Staff was very kind! Super cheap for an unpowered campsite. Stayed there two nights and it was quiet and peaceful. Nice to have a kitchen when my camp stove wouldn’t light due to the cold. Showers/toilets were super clean too. About 40-50 min drive to Cradle Mountain. 15 minute drive to a gas station if needed. 11/10 recommend!
Great place. Friendly staff. Nice and clean anenities. Little supermarket with mini-bottleshop. Free Wifi. Great views. Pademelons at night. We loved it!
Wonderful friendly staff. Nice to have a reception that is open until 7pm out of season. Meant we didn't have to rush our day to get our pitch and it opened again at 8am. Well stocked with food, drinks and even games. Beautiful views around the campsite. Hot powerful showers at $1 per 5 mins, which were most welcome after two nights of being self contained. Powered site with drainage hole for camper. Waste disposal down the hill. Water is untreated rain water, and showers have a brownish hue from the creek, but perfectly safe. I have sensitive skin and had no reactions!
Good spot if you are visiting Cradle Mountain, not much of a view but offerers good facilities
Really friendly service and great facilities. View of the mountain from campervan site is brilliant.
Outstanding park, bit if drive into here but totally worth it...Peaceful and lovely caretaker...
