When I drove out to this place in Nov 25 I found gravel road fine in my 2wd van but couldnt enter campground as had a sloping rutted entry & sign stating 4wd only yet that was not on flyer for campsites I got from tourist office. Luckily I could turn around as tree down over road just after entry. I walked down in the rain to check out grounds: no campers & grass long but fast flowing river was impressive. I hope entry is improved & info centre told as it would be a relaxing place to stay.

Beautiful spot right next to the snowy river, lots of space, good shady spots, picnic tables and four drop toilets

Me encantó este campamento. Hermoso lugar, río todo el camino, un lugar agradable para un buceo o un paddle. Longo camino de suciedad para entrar pero muy factible en un 2WD. Sin recepción telefónica, muchas opciones de sitio con chimeneas. Me encantó aquí

Increíble bien mantenido lugares de camping un montón de lugares para que puedas acampar lejos de los demás pero teníamos todos los sitios para nosotros mismos.Signage dice 4wd acceso sin embargo es una carretera ondulada todo el camino super fácil.Si tomas tu tiempo en la carretera entonces fácilmente tomar una caravana todo el camino hasta el final.

The road is closed, cause of the bushfires. Too bad.

Beautiful! We drove a 2WD that is high on it's wheels, so no problems for us while driving the gravel road. Not suitable for every car.. You camp next to the river, allowed to make a little campfire, the stars were so clear and at night we heard the dingo's howling. Real camping!

It’s a real nice place in the middle of nowhere. Take in mind that you have to cross a 14km gravel road what is not suitable for every car....
