Una granja super hermosa con un dueño muy agradable! No entiendo las críticas negativas. El enfoque no fue un problema en absoluto con mi furgoneta. Es una carretera de césped pero bien señalizado donde tienes que ir. Simplemente me aparqué en el lugar reservado sin “checkear”. En la tarde me encontré con el propietario y me mostró la granja y me permitió alimentar a los terneros con él. Reservaré el sitio alimentado para que tuviese acceso a la ducha caliente :)

I showed up mid afternoon to get settled in. It was very unclear where to go and there was no one around. The amenities promised weren’t present. I had a large campervan and I was travelling solo. When I got to the top of a hill where the powered site was signed, it was almost impossible to turn around. When I tried it was unsafe. There is no number or way to contact the owners. I felt very stressed and uncomfortable and decided to not stay the night. I wouldn’t recommend a powered site.

Tuvimos un gran tiempo aquí. Jeff fue un maravilloso anfitrión (junto con los adorables cachorros Arthur y Mo), muy útil y acogedor. Hemos tenido que ver a todos los cerdos muy dulces de cerca durante el tiempo de alimentación. Propiedad hermosa. Incluso vio un arco iris doble cuando llegamos por primera vez. Caminó a las cataratas también. Incluso recibió algunos huevos frescos de la granja que eran deliciosos! Muy recomendable y volvería a estar aquí.

Hermoso sitio ! Geoff y Lynne eran encantadores. En nuestra primera noche allí nos dieron un tour por la granja. Conocimos los terneros, corderos, pollos y por supuesto Arthur y Mo Mo (los perros). Geoff nos dio grandes consejos sobre nuestra caminata a las cataratas de Hunna (que es asombroso). Las instalaciones estaban limpias y como se describe con agua caliente !!! Nuestra estancia se sintió muy personal definitivamente se quedará de nuevo en el futuro. No podría recomendar lo suficiente!

Sitio rural, hermosas vistas. hermosa familia que lo dirige. Están actualizando los sitios también y sin duda será el mejor camping alrededor! Gracias.

Maravillosa zona tranquila, limpia y segura para acampar. Gran entorno y muy pintoresco. Excelente para conocer a Jeff, Lynn y Sam. 100% recomiendo!

This camp site, is hands down the best unpowered campsite we have been to so far in the north island. It is so beautiful we stayed an extra night. Both evenings we were the only ones there and Jeff, the owner, greeted us and made sure we were all set. On the property, all the amenities were clean and lots of flat spots next to fire pits (wood provided). You can take the provided kayaks down the creek to the top of Hunua falls (which is right next to where you’re parked up). Absolutely stunning!!

What an amazing spot next to the river great host and could not believe how beautiful it was

best campsite close to auckland! went to unpowered site next to the river. toilets, shower and host came down to let us know things to look for (eels, glowworms etc) also have fire pits available for use! would definitely come again. came in tents rather than camper!
