En general, era un lugar decente para alojarse con instalaciones básicas. Pagamos NZ$40 por dos personas por un sitio sin electricidad. El campamento también tiene unos pocos residentes de larga duración. El sistema de ducha caliente se podría mejorar. Necesitas pulsar el botón fuera del baño para activar el agua caliente primero. Luego se apaga automáticamente después de unos minutos, por lo que necesitas salir del ducha y presionarlo de nuevo. Un tiempo de agua caliente más largo sería más conveniente, especialmente en el tiempo frío.

After 6 weeks of motorhoming NZ we came across this gem. Bronwyn gave us a lovely welcome and this site is superb. Short walk to the beach and river, with the added bonus of fresh fruit ice cream being sold in the car park. New Zealand you are a wonderful place we will miss you xx Andrea and Paul UK

Friendly and welcoming reception. Very quiet campsite mainly with permanent residents. Clean facilities (toilets, showers, kitchen).

We arrived after 6pm and the office was closed. It was no problem at all to pay the morning after. Really nice staff and clean facilities. Paid 36$ for 2 person.

La ducha, la cocina y el Wi-Fi de 24 horas están incluidos en el precio, 18 NZD por persona, que apreciamos. Es a poca distancia a pie de la playa donde se pueden encontrar bayes y arándanos en el lado del camino. Este fue nuestro camping favorito en la isla del Sur debido al precio barato, al personal amable, a la hermosa ubicación y a las instalaciones incluidas.

This was fine for a night before we returned our camper. The kitchen/bathroom facilities are new and well kept. However the shower’s are very difficult to regulate the temperature. This is a mobile home community, so it seems weird to be in their space. The bottom end of the campground is super sketchy.

Very friendly staff, close location, facilities are super clean. We would highly recommend this campground.

Niet reserveren via de website, maar gewoon bellen of ze plek hebben. Reuze aardige 'babysitters' 🤭 Ws ouders van de eigenaars. De vader spreekt NL, zijn vrouw gewoon Engels. Fijne camping, relaxe sfeer, met short cut naar de rivier en het strand. Doen !
