The location is really nice, costs the same as a DOC site & I think it’s worth the money - HOWEVER the showers are an absolute rip off, $2/4 min but you wait 2 minutes to get hot water, the sink had better water pressure than the actual showers & as a woman it was a nightmare to wash my hair due to the horrible pressure, paid for 8 min & got maybe 4-5 minutes of hot water and the shower head needed to be held up while showering. The pines is the only spot in the whole site that has signal.

Super easy to get started, i didnt book online but is easy enough to book inside the cafe area. plenty of room as the campground is 1km long. lots of people so is sociable especially around meal times. toilets and showers are clean and easy to access. also a nice walk along the beach in good weather. is close to the road but isn't overly loud

A very beautiful and clean Campground! Toilets and showers very clean. Hot water showers just only for 2$ - so nice! Waking up at this place is very magical. The owner is very friendly and he cars abut the place. We definitely would come back 👍🏽

Loved this spot! My absolute favorite spot on our 3-week adventure. Amazing views of the ocean. Staff at The Store were so friendly. Breakfast and lattes were delicious. We found the shipping container turned lavatories/showers were relatively clean and worked well for us. Highly recommend. The train does make a bit of noise coming through at night. Great location to view the stars.

Hermosa vista pero sobrepreciado como las duchas no son gratis por lo que está pagando por nada efectivamente aparte de tiolets. Hay una pequeña habitación allí con algunos puntos de energía en él si es necesario cargar algo, sería mejor si los sitios estaban gravados como bastante sobrecogido y mudo cuando húmedo. Mucho ruido de la carretera y los trenes son ruidosos pero sólo tenían 2 en la noche de estancia allí. Hay un café de 100m pero cierra a las 4pm con la cocina cierra a las 2.30pm. Muy buen alimento pero el personal no atento o super amable.

Lugar agradable justo delante de la playa. Waves kinda cancela el ruido de la carretera, realmente no tuve ningún problema con eso y soy muy sensible al ruido! El anfitrión del campamento es muy agradable y amigable. Las duchas no son gratis pero muy, muy agradable. Hay un café muy agradable cerca, pero sólo abierto hasta las 4 pm. En mi opinión, sin embargo, este lugar es bastante sobrepreciado : no hay cocina, no hay un lugar protegido donde comer y las duchas no son gratuitas. Pero no hay opción si estás en esta zona y quieres acampar!
