Site was good for parking wise BUT I found it unbelievable that you have to pay to use the showers and on top of that the showers and toliets are completely unisex this creates a massive opening for sexual assault. I personally did not feel safe sharing bathrooms and paying already $56 for a powered site then paying $5 extra for hot water. Didn’t use any of the other facilities such as the kitchen ect.

Lovely views of the beach and bay- worth booking Beach side pitch. Very clean toilets and showers. Showers need $1 coin and work well. Nice site with established shrubs on site, feels less barren than most sites. Pitches are very small so might feel crowded in peak season but lovely in March. We didn't use the cafe or kitchen. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small playground plus bouncing pillow and trampoline.

Lovely tidy park with great, clean facilities. We had a great pitch backing on to the beach with wonderful views. We had to leave earlier than planned, due to the severe weather warnings.

Las instalaciones son antiguas y pequeñas, la cocina, no hay espacio para más de 3 personas a la vez. Le cobran por la ducha pero he intentado 2 y no trabajaron a las 7:30 y nadie está en el lugar en esta hora de la mañana. Recomendaron usar una instalación unisex pero mi esposa no los usaría porque tenían campistas permanentes en el lugar y ella pensó que era aterrador.

Personal amigable, instalaciones razonables. $50 para dos personas para acampar por una noche. Duchas costan extra. Nuestro sitio de tienda era muy pequeño y expuesto con carreteras directamente detrás y a la derecha de nosotros, un camino de pie delante, y otro sótano pulgadas a la izquierda.

Estuvo aquí durante 2 noches. “En” la playa, sin embargo, está cubierta de rocas negras y madera drift y se le aconseja no nadar en el agua en las playas de Napier debido a la fuerte subsuelo. El campamento era tranquilo, limpio, asequible y abundante. Las duchas son $1/5 min. Las lavadoras / secadoras son $4 / $2 respectivamente. Me quedaría aquí de nuevo

maravilloso lugar para quedarse, tener monedas de un dólar listas si viene en las tardes o mientras la recepción está abierta para las duchas. llegamos mientras estaban abiertas. lugar agradable y limpio

We arrived just slightly after hours and didn’t realize we had to bring dollar coins- ONLY dollar coins- to make the showers work ($1/5min). There isn’t a change machine, so with the office being closed we had to beg an exchange for two off whoever happened to be in the kitchen at the time. Nobody else had realized this was the case either.The men’s showers only got lukewarm for the last two minutes, women’s lukewarm the whole time, otherwise cold. Otherwise facilities were relatively clean and orderly, site was pretty quiet. Washer was effective, dryer not so much ($4 for 30 mins, jeans were still quite damp at the end). Lots of birds- one of them decided to knock on our window for about 20 mins straight at 6am, and we woke up to bird poo all over everything. Nothing you can do about nature though.
