Amazing view! 25 NZD per night. Spacious kitchen but no table for lunch, hot shower is 50 cents for 2 minutes and there is no wifi. The owner is kind and offered us a warm place to sleep in view of the wind.

Llegó aquí durante el tiempo ocupado y no se dio cuenta de lo caro que era.. mucho más caro que cualquier otro campamento. $30 por adulto y $16 por niño. El bloque de baño era super lejos para caminar, especialmente con niños pequeños, donde tiene que ser rápido a veces. Los recepcionistas estaban bien, pero el propietario dejó un comentario no tan agradable y en general nos trataron como un número en lugar de humanos.

This is a beautiful campsite, old-fashioned kiwi camping at its very best. Nita is an amazing host, friendly and helpful. The whole property is kept immaculate and clean. The toilet and shower facilities are excellent. If you have kids there is plenty to keep them happy here. There is a surf beach with crashing waves for lovely walks, and then there is the very safe, calm inner harbour beach the other side. It’s just a short walk down to take the long footbridge and walk all the way across to Pataua north and its long wide surf beach. Two locations for the price of one. This is off the beaten track but maintains the best kiwi camping traditions. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Leaving early, can't stand the kids smashing bottles In the recycling bins any longer starts so early in the morning and echoes all round the park, they pull the whole ones out just so they can throw them in, parents obviously don't care, staff down there do nothing. Check in was somehow un organized.

Amazing park to stay at. So lovely and clean, very well maintained. Super quiet in may. Toilet and shower block sparkling clean. Lovely walking through to beach and inlet. Really enjoyed our stay. Greg was very nice and really helpful. Definitely be back.

Truly a wonderful spot especially if you’re there at a quiet time. Lucky enough to be there with only two other campers - parked on top of the hill with glorious views and a short walk to a stunning surf beach with no-one on it! Walk a bit further across the footbridge to Pataua North. Didn’t meet Nita but Greg was amazing - even delivered hone grown grapes for dessert!

A wonderful campsite !! I stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful time. The kitchen (no cooking utensils available) was spacious and clean. There are sufficient showers and toilets, which are also in good condition. Access to the beach is easy and there are hills with trees and bushes around the campsite. -> cents per 3 minutes of hot shower

What a gem of a campsite. It was very quiet when we were there. Fab beach right by, great facilities and wonderful views from top of site. Very friendly and helpful owner. Wish we could have stayed more than one night but on a road trip.
