Curioso, es un camping DOC pero tienes que pagar incluso si tienes el pase DOC...

15pp auto check-in a su llegada pagando en efectivo o esperando hasta la mañana para pagar con tarjeta. hemos elegido un lugar agradable realmente cerca del lago (hemos tomado un baño) y el baño fue una larga caída sin flush por supuesto, no olor en absoluto La última parte de la carretera de entrada tiene pocos agujeros por lo que tenga cuidado. traer con usted mosquitos y sándwiches repelente o no ir en absoluto!!

Maravillosa estancia en este campamento, vino originalmente para 1 noche terminó quedándose para 3. vistas sobre las montañas y cerca de un lago. El lugar era muy tranquilo y un montón de lugares de aparcamiento (hora de invierno) sólo tenía un $20 pero por la mañana, un miembro del personal vino a verme para darme un cambio de $5. Estancia increíble !

Sin una reserva, encontramos fácilmente un lugar cerca de los baños. No tuvimos ningún cambio, pero cumplimentamos el formulario, y por la mañana el gerente vino con un terminal de pago. Una noche muy tranquila. El lago está cerca, así como la ruta de senderismo de Bob's Cove, de la que sólo hicimos una sección mientras buscábamos el Ithilien (LoTR).

Apareció alrededor de las 8:30 y había muchos puntos disponibles. Cuando entras en la estancia en el lado derecho los puntos son más bonitos y más abiertos, hay señal pero es muy débil Porque me aparecí tan tarde y no tuve dinero, la señora DOC vino por la mañana justo antes de las 9 con una máquina eftpos, $ 15 muy asequible!

Beautiful, cheap spot!! Very basic but the sunrise and sunset was beautiful over the mountains! The owners are lovely, and had a chat in the morning when they came around to get card payments! We went right at the entrance, all the way to the bobs cove walk- and camped under some trees! We were the only ones in that section that woke up with no frost on our tent or car, so would recommend in winter. Had 2 bars of 4G with 2degrees, but our friend had no signal with OneNz. Can fill up quickly.

Great place, we stayed 2 nights near the lake. Very clean toilets and with niche picnic tables. There are many locations and 13 min from Queenstown center. No telephone network. Possibility to pay in cash or by card (morning) -> 15$/pp. The DOC pass does not work here (which is a shame to the price at which it is paid).

Great location and extremely quiet. Beautiful sunrise if you’re up early in the morning. We had a bit of service. We didn’t have cash so just paid with card when we left in the morning. Ideal if you’re looking for unpowered slightly out of the main city. Also plenty of space if you go down below the entrance rather than straight ahead

Campground 10 minutes from Queenstown, near the lake. Plenty of sites. Very convenient, with the option to pay in cash or online on arrival or departure day. Several restrooms on site. $15 per person Great!
